Rents are negotiated yearly in Sweden in accordance with national housing regulations. All rental units we have are owned by external property owners. As a result, rent increases may vary between different housing areas.

Increases in costs for services included in the rent (e.g. electricity, internet, water etc.) may also affect the rent.

The outcome depends on the area in which you are accommodated, as each property owner conducts separate negotiations that must be followed. As soon as we receive confirmation, we will notify our tenants.

The effective date of a rent increase is subject to negotiation and not predetermined. In certain cases, UUHO may choose to implement the increase gradually in stages to ease the financial burden on tenants. Please note that rent increases may occasionally be issued retroactively due to prolonged negotiations.
