Who can apply?

All international guest researchers, PhD students or other persons with similar assignments at Uppsala University are welcome to apply for accommodation.
Unfortunately the demand for housing is very high and therefore there is no guarantee that we will be able to offer accommodation to all.

How to apply?

You need to register an account on My Pages and send your application there. Find My Pages in the upper right corner or via this link: https://mypages.housingoffice.se/.

What happens after you have applied?

When we have received your application you will be placed in our housing queue. As soon as we have an apartment available, a housing offer will be sent to you via My Pages, and you will be notified via email. You need to answer to the housing offer within the specified time, otherwise we will assume that you have arranged for accommodation somewhere else. The offer will then be cancelled and your application will be removed from the queue. We can send two (2) offers per guest researcher, so please evaluate the offers carefully and contact us if you have any questions.

Please note that you need to renew your application every 3 month in order to stay in the queue. You do so via My Pages, and you will be notified when it’s time to renew the application. Your application will be automatically removed from our waiting list if we haven’t heard from you 3 months after you first applied, or your latest renewal.
