Student Accommodation Vacancies
For students and others with affiliation to Uppsala University, who are not included in our primary assignment.

Who can apply?
UUHO has an assignment to provide accommodation for certain groups of international students. Sometimes we have more rooms available than is needed to fullfill that assignment and are happy to offer them to other categories of applicants who are not included in our main assignment.
Examples of categories that are very welcome to apply for a Student Accommodation Vacancy through our office:
- European master students who do not pay tuition fees to study at UU
- Exchange students whose receiving department at UU is not allocated any of our rooms
- Students here on internships
- Thesis writers
- Other international students
- Swedish students
- Students at SLU

Availability in Uppsala
We are accepting applications for student accommodation vacancies in Uppsala from the summer of 2024 until July 31, 2025, at the longest.
Because we are currently processing applications from students included in our assignment, we will not process applications for Student Accommodation Vacancies before mid-june. We prioritize applications for longer contracts over shorter stays.

Availability in Visby, Campus Gotland
We are accepting applications for student accommodation vacancies in Uppsala from the spring semester of 2024 until August 15, 2024, at the longest.
Click the link below and register an account on ‘My pages’. When you have registered an account, you will be able to access the application form for vacancies.
NOTE! When you register, choose “Vacancy” as “type of applicant“.
Important information!
- We do not have a queueing system for vacancy contracts and we apply first come, first served.
- However, we will prioritize applications for longer periods over shorter stays.
- You will need to arrange for home insurance yourself.
- All our apartments and student rooms are furnished.
