Villa Åsen is a very special old building in central Uppsala. The rooms are spacy with high ceilings. A more recent building with apartments is situated right next to the older one. There are 15 apartments at Villavägen. The surroundings are quiet and most of the university departments are within walking distance. The town center is about 10 minutes´walk.
The English park, the Castle, the Cathedral and the Botanic Garden are within a few minutes’ walk.

Your landlord is the Uppsala University Housing Office and the house owner is Uppsala Akademiförvaltning UAF. Any problems concerning your apartment should be reported to the Housing office. See Reporting problems.
Internet and TV
Internet connection is provided in all apartments. Wifi is provided. TV is an extra service that we provide.
Contact the University Housing office if you wish to rent one of the parking places in front of the buildings.
The garbage room is in the new building, entrance from the yard. Waste in Uppsala must be sorted in categories.
In the basement in the old building and in the attic in the new building, each apartment has its´ own storage room.
On the second floor in the new building, there is a sauna to which all tenants have access. Please leave it clean and tidy.
In the old building, ceilings are very high. You can use the ladder in the basement to change bulbs in the ceiling lamps.
The laundry is on the ground floor in the new building. A booking list on the board next to the door is used for reservations.
Power cut on some electrical equipment may be caused by blown fuses. Please check the electricity center in your hall. New fuses can be bought in the supermarket.
The tenant is responsible for having an appropriate home insurance.
