In the area of Kvarngärdet we have a total of 13 apartments. They are situated in different streets. The streets are small in a quiet area with two-story houses. The surroundings are suitable for families with children, and there is an English school nearby. The town center is 10 minutes´ walk away. The apartments have been renovated in 2011 and 2012.
Monthly rent for 2 room apartments from SEK 11 450 furnished for 2-3 persons.
Monthly rent for 3 room apartments from SEK 13 300 furnished for 3-4 persons.
Monthly rent for 4 room apartments from SEK 16 350 furnished for 4-5 persons.
Furnishings, heating, electricity, phone and broadband is included in the rent.
Due to the economic situation in Sweden today with raised expenses for house owners, tenants will most likely have to face higher than usual rent increases during 2023. We will inform all our tenants as soon as rents have been negotiated.

Landlord
Your landlord is the Uppsala University Housing Office and the house owner is Stena Fastigheter.
Stena Bostad has decided to renovate the whole area beginning in fall 2010. The construction company contracted by Stena are working both on the outside with balconies, entrance doors and other parts of the houses and there may be disturbances for our tenants.
Internet
There is a Telia connection to internet provided by the house owner in these apartments. A router supply a wifi signal in each apartment.
Car parking
You need to download an app and register yourself in it please contact Housing Office for more information.
Laundry
The laundry rooms that you can use are situated in the following houses:
Frödingsgatan: Frödingsgatan 18 (or 7 – 9; 13 – 15, 17 – 19)
Thunmansgatan: Lenngrensgatan 8 – 10
Strindbergsgatan: Strindbergsgatan 13 – 15
Garbage
Waste in Uppsala must be sorted in categories – glass, metal, newspaper, cardboard, plastics, organic or combustible waste.
Storage
Some apartments have an extra storage in the stairwell. Your door key will fit.
Electricity
Power cut on some electrical equipment may be caused by blown fuses. Please check the electricity center in your hall. New fuses can be bought in the supermarket.
Internet
There is a Telia connection to internet provided by the house owner in these apartments.
Insurance
The tenant is responsible for having an appropriate home insurance.
