Västmanlands-Dala Nation, also called V-Dala Nation, is a student society. Via V-Dala student nation Uppsala University Housing Office has nine rooms, located in different parts of Uppsala. Because of the small number of rooms, the chance of getting a room at V-Dala Nation is quite small compared with other housing areas.
At V-Dala we offer 8 corridor rooms and two 2 private one-room apartments. The accommodations are located in different parts of Uppsala. You have to become a member of V-Dala nation in order to stay in these accommodations. You can join the nation after your arrival in Uppsala by visiting the nation.

About the Rooms
All rooms are fully furnished (pillow and quilt included). The rent for a corridor room at V-Dala nation varied between 4001-4921 SEK/month and the studio apartments were 4891-4979 SEK/month for the autumn semester 2023. Rents are increased yearly and we will update the information here as soon as new rents are established. The monthly rent includes electricity, water, heating and internet. There is no wifi, you connect via a net cable to the wall outlet.
You are expected to pay SEK 2500 deposit before arrival.
Karlsrogatan 3: three rooms in corridor. The rooms are 19 square meters and has a private bathroom (shower). Kitchen is shared between the tenants in the corridor.
Luthagsesplananden 83 and 91: two private one-room apartments. The apartments are about 28 square meters and have private kitchen and bathroom.
Luthagsesplananden 27B: two rooms in a miniature corridor where only the two students share a kitchen and a bathroom.
S:T Johannesgatan 30F: one room in corridor of 8 student rooms. The room is 22 square meters and has a private bathroom (shower). Kitchen is shared between the 8 tenants.
Svartmangatan 14: two rooms in corridor with 6 or 7 rooms. The rooms are 19 square meters and have private bathroom (shower). Kitchen is shared between all tenants in the corridor.
NOTE: If you apply for the rooms at V-Dala Nation through Uppsala University housing Office you will sign a contract with UUHO, not V-Dala nation.
