Cancellation & termination policy

All regulations are stated in the leasing terms and conditions in your contract. Please make sure that you read it carefully so you know what applies to you.

Your contract is legally binding from the date you accept it on My Pages. The contracted period, i.e. the period for which you are renting the room/apartment, is written in your contract..

Please note that the contract will not automatically cancel if you decide not to collect the keys to the room or if you decide to return the keys earlier than the end date of your contract. Changing the dates in the contract is only possible if both you and the landlord (UUHO) agrees to the changes.

You are liable to pay rent for the contracted period regardless of your actual arrival- or departure date or whether you come to Sweden or not. Therefore it is important that you keep yourself well informed of the rules and procedures to make changes to your contracted period.

Requests to change the dates in your contract must be done in writing by sending an e-mail to info@housingoffice.se.

Please note: we cannot make any exceptions to the cancellation and termination policies.

After the rental period of the contract has started, you must give three full calendar months’ notice. to terminate it earlier than the original rental end date. The new end date can only be the last day of a month and you must pay rent during the notice period.

Requests for termination must be sent in writing by e-mail to info@housingoffice.se.

Example:
To end your contract on November 30^th, you must email us by August 31^st. If you email on September 1^st or later in September, the earliest end date will be December 31^st.
